Espace Meyer Zafra is pleased to present our Booth AM312 for Art Miami Fair 2023. Central to our presentation is Jesus Rafael Soto’s 1994 artwork Verde y Tabacco, an elegant piece which is part of the Ambivalence Series. Next to it, an important masterpiece by Grazia Varisco, Schemo Luminoso R.3 Tondi Concentrici (1968) will be featured (one piece of this series is part of the Centre Pompidou’s collection); on the other side a captivating work by Marina Apollonio, Dinamica Circolare Tetradecagono Ø100. After her participation in the last Venice Biennial, a major solo exhibition will be dedicated to Apollonio at the Guggenheim Museum of Venice. Furthermore before his upcoming exhibition at the gallery, Ennio L. Chiggio will be featured with the large piece Grande Otto Volante (2011). In this kinetic part of the booth, we will be glad to show one work by Yaacov Agam. Last October, The Ritz Hotel - Place Vendôme, gave the opportunity to Manuel Mérida to design an entire boutique with a surprising decor. On the occasion of Art Miami 2023, Manuel Mérida has especially created an installation entitled Installation Impression reminding us of the great impressionist and pointillist masters. As the new representative of Piotr Kowalski, we will also have the pleasure of exhibiting for the first time at an art fair a historic work, New York Perspective, made in 1997 by this pioneering artist of technological art. Among these historic pieces, we will present colorful painting and sculpture by René Ugarte and David Rodriguez Caballero, and new works by Alexis Hayère, Ismael Mundaray who had great success the previous edition. For this new edition we will also have the pleasure of presenting for the first time paintings by the young French artist Flora Temnouche.
