Triferenza BN is part of a series of recent researches on the instability of superimposed textures. The principle behind them is very similar to that of linear interferences (superimposed textures) with the difference that the Trigrafie are made in acrylic on cardboard by superimposing three identical textures and sliding them together. Here too, a perceptual instability and a moiré effect are obtained. Chiggio maintained that the higher the perceptual instability generated by a work, the more successful the work was.
